Christmas Eve!
It's almost Christmas! I am so excited to see Peyton's reaction when she comes down the stairs tomorrow morning! This age is so much fun, and she really gets into it now. She gets excited about opening presents (who wouldn't) and has been doing very well with saying "thank you" each time she opens one. And Hayley doesn't know what's going on, but we make sure to include her too :-) We had a wonderful time today with Brad's side of the family and then tonight we spent Christmas Eve with my family and my oldest sister and her two boys. We missed Daddy though....cops never get holidays off :-( Tomorrow it will just be us in the morning and then my family will be coming over for the rest of the day. I can't wait, I LOVE the holidays! Below are some pictures of the girls in their Christmas jammies......they are so cute!! It's a tradition for us, the kids always get Christmas jammies to wear Christmas Eve. Happy Birthday Jesus!!!

She's Here!
Hayley Kay Frost arrived on September 29,2010 at 10:33AM. She weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces and was 20 inches long!! And yes I know, this is late :-) We've been sort of busy!
Her birth was great, even easier than Peyton's! I was induced at 6AM that morning and had contractions regularly but they weren't painful. My doctor came in and broke my water at about 8:45 and then the contractions started in pretty intense, so of course that was the time I got my epidural :-) It was fantastic! Less than 2 hours later she was here! I only pushed twice again :-) I really don't think it could have been easier! She was beautiful and cried and screamed like she should. It was perfect, brought back the wonderful memories of when Peyton was born :-) Below is a link to her newborn pictures!

Big Girl!
So over the past month or so, Peyton has finally mastered climbing up on the slide and going down all by herself :-) Finally.....I can just sit and watch her play without having to help her on the slide all the time, lol. She is a very cautious little girl, which isn't bad, but it means she wants me to help or hold her hand for lots of things. I've discovered the more I tell her she can do it herself, the more she tries things. She is quite proud of herself for being able to do the slide all on her own.....and so am I :-)

Playing in the Dirt
So Brad and I got a new deck put on the house a few weeks ago and I finally got him to do the landscaping around it :-) I did alot of work too, but being almost 36 weeks pregnant....I did the best I could :-) But we had one great helper and that was Peyton! She was so excited to see the flowers and bushes! I gave her a spade so she could "help" us and she started digging in the dirt like it was her job, lol. She kept saying "dirt" "spade", lol. She had a blast and amazingly this kept her entertained for hours so Brad and I could get everything done for the landscaping. She just went around digging in the dirt and taking breaks to kick her "pooh" ball around the yard and play on her slide.
She took a break to water my tree

Baby Girl Update- 31 weeks!
Only 9 weeks left!! Maybe only 8, if she comes a week early like her big sister did ;-) She is measuring right on track and doing great! She is so active, much more active in my belly than Peyton ever was. Not sure if that is a sign of what's to come or not, lol. I am feeling good, just getting tired and so, so hot! I've decided that being pregnant in the summer is not the most fun. Other than being tired, I feel good and certainly can't complain. I see my OB every 2 weeks now, and I remember with Peyton that once we got to that point time really starting to fly by. I can't wait to meet this sweet baby girl and give Peyton a sister :-)

Summer Fun
This summer has been so much fun! We have been doing so many things and taking little mini vacations as a family. We have been to The Kentucky Horsepark and the Newport Aquarium and we've been to the zoo about 6 times already! Peyton just loves seeing the animals, and it never gets boring. It has been so much fun to spend time as a family before this new little baby girl arrives. It has been quite a hot summer already, and it's even hotter being pregnant!! But I love being pregnant, even if it is crazy hot. Peyton doesn't seem to understand about the new baby, but I think she is too young to get it. Right now she says she is excited about a baby sister, but I don't think she knows what that means, lol. Here are some pictures from the summer so far.

She's a Toddler!
Writing this makes me sad....might be the pregnancy hormones, but I'm pretty sure every mom gets sad when they realize their "baby" isn't much of a baby anymore. Especially you're first....there is something so special about your first-born. They are the ones that taught you everything you need to know to be a good parent the next time around :-) We've entered the world of toddler beds, sitting on the potty, and independence! Peyton is such a little sweatheart and has recently become very attatched to both mommy and daddy....perhaps she senses that things are changing...or it's just a phase. Whatever it is, Brad and I are enjoying every second of it! She gives big hugs and kisses and cuddles. Her new favorite thing to do is to play naked in her new big girl room after bathtime at night. She runs around with her little tushy shaking, lol. It is so cute! Just tonight she was running around naked and then stops and comes over to me on the bed and lays down next to me and cuddles me.....we sang the ABC's and I told her all about her new little sister coming this summer. It makes me sad to think that in such a short while, it won't be just her anymore. Exciting.....but still kind of sad....
She is finally learning to stop and smile for the camera!

Memorial Day
Memorial Day was lots of fun!! It's nice that Peyton is big enough now to run and play with her cousins, Cain and Anderson. She still doesn't keep up with them though, lol. Peyton is more of a watch and see kind of girl, I guess. We got a cute little pool/island for the kids to play in, but Peyton wanted nothing to do with it. She would walk up to it, but would not get in. She looked super cute in her little bikini though :-) The day turned out nice, got nice and sunny later in the afternoon. We missed Daddy who still had to work that day, cops just can't catch a break can they? Here are some pics from the day.
She had alot of fun with the cup......

Spring Time Fun!
Here are some pictures of all the fun we've been having since Spring arrived!! We are so excited for the nice weather and Peyton has decided that being outside is her favorite thing....well, next to daddy of course :-) I have a serious daddy's girl on my hands! Brad put together her new playset for outside which she loves! She is also pretty obsessed with bubbles....she wakes up in the morning and the first things she says is "bubbles, bubbles!". The girl can't get enough bubbles....but her daddy and I sure can! We've been having lots of fun playing outside, she runs now. So, she loves to just run and scream, run and scream....:-)

Here We Go Again...
So we are having another baby!!! And it's another girl :-) That makes me very happy, I'm so excited that Peyton will get to have a sister close in age. I cherish my relationships with my sisters, and I hope these two girls will be as close as I am with my sisters. So far this pregnancy is going just as wonderful as my pregnancy with Peyton. I did have some morning sickness this time around in the first trimester, but it wasn't that bad. Still didn't like it though! I don't know how some women do it, I've heard of people being nauseous their whole pregnancy! Yuck! I'm craving most of the same things too....lemonade, chocolate milk...oh and juice!!! I cannot get enough orange juice and apple juice! Weird, I know :-) The official due date is 9/26/10....this will be one hot summer for me!!

Peyton Turns One!!
Peyton turned one on December 20th! I can't believe it has been one year since we had her (or I should say, "I" had her, lol). She has just been the most amazing and wonderful baby we could have ever hoped for. Having her has changed our lives in so many good ways I can't even begin to explain. She is sweet and silly.....just how we ordered her =) Some of the things she has mastered so far is talking...the girl just talks and talks! She says "mama", "dada", "ke" which means kitty, "no,no,no" which is clearly her favorite, "hi", and "bye bye". She has the waving thing down too. We can't go 2 feet in a store without her waving and saying "hi" to every person in sight! Still isn't walking....she seems to be more intersted in talking at this point. But she cruises along the furniture so I'm sure she'll be walking in no time. Below are some pics from her party!
