Cousins

Peyton has some of the best cousins ever!! She loves them sooooo much!! It took a little while for her closest cousin (Anderson) to warm up to her....but I think they will be bff's!! :-) Her cousin Cain has always loved her...even when she was still in my belly he would pat my big belly and say "hi peyton". He is such a sweetie, he is a great big brother and I'm sure he will act as Peyton's pseudo big brother! Now that Peyton is getting older and getting more adventurous, they all seem to be having fun and really starting to interact with each other now, which is really fun to watch. Danger at times too!! She doesn't see her older cousins John and Steven as much, but she loves them too!! Here are some recent pics of all the silly cousin fun!

End of Summer Fun!

Alas, summer must come to an end, right?? I myself am looking forward to fall and winter, I love fall weather and this winter is exciting as Peyton will turn 1 in December! Wow, time has really flown by! We had a blast this summer hanging out with daddy and her cousins Cain and Anderson, Uncle Matt and Aunt Lindsay, and Grammy. Peyton has started standing while holding onto something, she certainly is very proud of herself for being able to accomplish this! Ha! She is babbling more and more, and definitely is in a "mommy's girl" phase....which I love :-) She still loves her kitties and her dog, her face just lights up when they come near her. She has started trying to say "kitty" and we are working on waving hello and bye bye. In the mean time, she is perfecting her skills of flapping her arms and smacking her hands (which is like a backwards form of clapping)....which she finds extremely hilarious...I have no idea what she is doing, lol. Anyhow, she is growing and getting cuter by the day........I love my munchie...:-)

Big Girl Jammies

There is something about your baby no longer wearing sleepers/footies.....it's almost like a milestone. Maybe it's silly, but it makes me suddenly realize that my precious little munchie is growing up.....way too fast!!!!

Army Crawling!

So Peyton has started army crawling over the past week!! It's so hard to believe how fast she is growing up, it really does fly by. Makes me sad, I kind of want her to stay a baby for a while longer. Brad and I are trying to savor every moment we have with her, it seems like she changes from day to day. Her personality is quite funny, and here lately she has become somewhat of a "mommy's girl"! She wants me to hold her all the time, even if Brad has her, she wants her mommy. I have to admit....I don't mind it at all :) She is drinking from a sippy cup really well and is quite obsessed with it actually. She also eats those little puffs and yogurt melts, and she does pretty well feeding herself. She's our little Munchie :)

Zoo Trip

So Brad and I took Peyton to the Columbus Zoo today, her first trip to the zoo!!! Boy was it hot, but we had a great time. Peyton loved seeing the animals and she was such a good girl, no surprise in that. She really like seeing the fish and the manitee's (sp?), she was quite interested in those. We were there quite a while, and she eventually fell asleep in the stroller which was really cute. Here are some cute pictures from the day. We bought her a cute stuffed river otter before we left, which she loves, lol.
