Here We Go Again...
So we are having another baby!!! And it's another girl :-) That makes me very happy, I'm so excited that Peyton will get to have a sister close in age. I cherish my relationships with my sisters, and I hope these two girls will be as close as I am with my sisters. So far this pregnancy is going just as wonderful as my pregnancy with Peyton. I did have some morning sickness this time around in the first trimester, but it wasn't that bad. Still didn't like it though! I don't know how some women do it, I've heard of people being nauseous their whole pregnancy! Yuck! I'm craving most of the same things too....lemonade, chocolate milk...oh and juice!!! I cannot get enough orange juice and apple juice! Weird, I know :-) The official due date is 9/26/10....this will be one hot summer for me!!

Peyton Turns One!!
Peyton turned one on December 20th! I can't believe it has been one year since we had her (or I should say, "I" had her, lol). She has just been the most amazing and wonderful baby we could have ever hoped for. Having her has changed our lives in so many good ways I can't even begin to explain. She is sweet and silly.....just how we ordered her =) Some of the things she has mastered so far is talking...the girl just talks and talks! She says "mama", "dada", "ke" which means kitty, "no,no,no" which is clearly her favorite, "hi", and "bye bye". She has the waving thing down too. We can't go 2 feet in a store without her waving and saying "hi" to every person in sight! Still isn't walking....she seems to be more intersted in talking at this point. But she cruises along the furniture so I'm sure she'll be walking in no time. Below are some pics from her party!

Pumpkin Patch
We took advantage of Brad having a week off and took Peyton to a pumpkin patch!! She loved it!! It was so cute, she was smiling and squealing the whole time, lol. She loved playing on the huge pumpkins but wasn't too sure about sitting amongst all the pumpkins...she was more intersted in playing with the dead grass. :-) There were some horses and donkeys there and she loved them! Just like her mommy :-) She got to pet them and she just smiled and laughed the whole time. She was such a good girl! It was exciting to take her to her first pumpkin patch and really see her enjoy it. This age is so much fun!!
Not sure what to think about sitting with the pumpkins...
Halloween
Peyton was a caterpillar for Halloween...the cutest one I've ever seen!! We had lots of fun, Daddy was off that week so we had lots of family time together. We went to Boo at the Zoo with Grammy and Lindsay and Matt and her cousins Cain and Anderson. That was so much fun...Peyton just loved being in her costume! Her and her cousins got tons of candy! We also handed out candy on trick-or-trick night at the house.
Here she is standing in her costume...

Cousins
Peyton has some of the best cousins ever!! She loves them sooooo much!! It took a little while for her closest cousin (Anderson) to warm up to her....but I think they will be bff's!! :-) Her cousin Cain has always loved her...even when she was still in my belly he would pat my big belly and say "hi peyton". He is such a sweetie, he is a great big brother and I'm sure he will act as Peyton's pseudo big brother! Now that Peyton is getting older and getting more adventurous, they all seem to be having fun and really starting to interact with each other now, which is really fun to watch. Danger at times too!! She doesn't see her older cousins John and Steven as much, but she loves them too!! Here are some recent pics of all the silly cousin fun!

End of Summer Fun!
Alas, summer must come to an end, right?? I myself am looking forward to fall and winter, I love fall weather and this winter is exciting as Peyton will turn 1 in December! Wow, time has really flown by! We had a blast this summer hanging out with daddy and her cousins Cain and Anderson, Uncle Matt and Aunt Lindsay, and Grammy. Peyton has started standing while holding onto something, she certainly is very proud of herself for being able to accomplish this! Ha! She is babbling more and more, and definitely is in a "mommy's girl" phase....which I love :-) She still loves her kitties and her dog, her face just lights up when they come near her. She has started trying to say "kitty" and we are working on waving hello and bye bye. In the mean time, she is perfecting her skills of flapping her arms and smacking her hands (which is like a backwards form of clapping)....which she finds extremely hilarious...I have no idea what she is doing, lol. Anyhow, she is growing and getting cuter by the day........I love my munchie...:-)
