Peyton Danielle
Peyton is 2 1/2 now, and I think this is definitely one of my favorite ages! She is so much fun, the girl cracks me up all the time. She talks so much and says the funniest things! She loves to be silly! Right now, some of her favorite things are Mr.Monkey (of course), the movie Cars (which we watch probably 4 times a day), playing outside, and yogurt :-) She can be a little stinker, but for the most part she listens very well and behaves great. I'm really quite proud of her, she is very sweet and shows so much affection. She is always wanting hugs and kisses and says "I wuv you" all the time! She is a wonderful big sister, she just loves Hayley to death. She is always bringing her toys and she gets worried if she cries. She is starting to not want to share with her, but I make her, lol.

Hayley Bear
I cannot believe that my Hayley will be 7 months old in just a couple weeks!! The time has flown by so fast, it is unbelievable! She is just a doll, such a perfect little girl. And I don't apologize for telling people she is perfect....because she is :) She is truely always happy, smiling and laughing. She sleeps 12 hours consistently every night and takes great naps....makes for a well-rested and happy momma :) She is starting to sit up on her own, with some help. She loves to be in her jumperoo, she even tries to jump in my lap, lol. She loves to try to eat her toes too! She still isn't rolling over yet, but we are working on that. She does the swimming motions when she is on her belly, so she is trying to move! She just had her 6 month check up and she weighs in at 21 pounds, lol. She is such a chunker!!! And I love the fat rolls, lol. She just makes me so happy. I can't believe how God blessed us with such an amazing baby.

I'm In Love...
Now don't get me wrong....I am not playing favorites with my children, but Peyton has been so amazingly special to me lately!!! She always is...but I think that there are times when your children are exceptionally special to you for some reason :) And right now, Peyton has just captured my heart even more than she already has. She is growing up into a wonderful toddler (minus the occasional meltdowns, lol) and her personality is just so darn adorable! I may be partial because she is just like me :) She is sweet, caring, loving, sassy, strong-willed, humurous, and energetic. She just makes my heart soar and sometimes it feels like my heart could explode with the love I feel for her! I just wanted to highlight my first-born....she is quite an exceptional little girl :)

It's Been a While....
Yikes!! Wow, it has been a while since I've updated this! Life is sort of busy now with both girls, but I love it! Hayley is almost 6 months old now.....I swear the time has flown by like a million times faster than it did with Peyton. Why is it that when you are young time seems to crawl and then once you get "old" time just starts to fly? It makes me sad sometimes.....because these are the times that I want to cherish so much and remember....I just want to freeze time! Peyton and Hayley are at such fun ages that I just don't want them to get any bigger, lol.
Peyton is just such a riot. Some of the things she says and does....she is just hilarious! She is starting to use the big girl potty now more often, but I still don't think she is ready for full-on potty training. No rush for me, I think maybe once she gets closer to 3 I might start hitting it a little harder. She can count to 10 all by herself now!! And sometimes she gets to 13 too! She sings the ABCs, but you can't really make them all out, lol. She is so cuddly, she is always giving hugs and kisses and saying "I wuv you".....man that girl just melts my heart.
Hayley is just adorable, she is smiling and laughing all the time. She is so happy, sometimes Brad and I cannot even remember when she cried last (I know, I know, ridiculous huh?) She sleeps 12 hours at night, has been since she was 10 weeks old! We are so spoiled with her. She is just so content and such a sweetheart....just thinking about her makes me smile. She isn't rolling over yet, but I think that is because she is so fat, lol. She was in the 95% percentile for her weight and 85% percentile for her height at her 4 month check-up!

Christmas Eve!
It's almost Christmas! I am so excited to see Peyton's reaction when she comes down the stairs tomorrow morning! This age is so much fun, and she really gets into it now. She gets excited about opening presents (who wouldn't) and has been doing very well with saying "thank you" each time she opens one. And Hayley doesn't know what's going on, but we make sure to include her too :-) We had a wonderful time today with Brad's side of the family and then tonight we spent Christmas Eve with my family and my oldest sister and her two boys. We missed Daddy though....cops never get holidays off :-( Tomorrow it will just be us in the morning and then my family will be coming over for the rest of the day. I can't wait, I LOVE the holidays! Below are some pictures of the girls in their Christmas jammies......they are so cute!! It's a tradition for us, the kids always get Christmas jammies to wear Christmas Eve. Happy Birthday Jesus!!!

She's Here!
Hayley Kay Frost arrived on September 29,2010 at 10:33AM. She weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces and was 20 inches long!! And yes I know, this is late :-) We've been sort of busy!
Her birth was great, even easier than Peyton's! I was induced at 6AM that morning and had contractions regularly but they weren't painful. My doctor came in and broke my water at about 8:45 and then the contractions started in pretty intense, so of course that was the time I got my epidural :-) It was fantastic! Less than 2 hours later she was here! I only pushed twice again :-) I really don't think it could have been easier! She was beautiful and cried and screamed like she should. It was perfect, brought back the wonderful memories of when Peyton was born :-) Below is a link to her newborn pictures!

Big Girl!
So over the past month or so, Peyton has finally mastered climbing up on the slide and going down all by herself :-) Finally.....I can just sit and watch her play without having to help her on the slide all the time, lol. She is a very cautious little girl, which isn't bad, but it means she wants me to help or hold her hand for lots of things. I've discovered the more I tell her she can do it herself, the more she tries things. She is quite proud of herself for being able to do the slide all on her own.....and so am I :-)

Playing in the Dirt
So Brad and I got a new deck put on the house a few weeks ago and I finally got him to do the landscaping around it :-) I did alot of work too, but being almost 36 weeks pregnant....I did the best I could :-) But we had one great helper and that was Peyton! She was so excited to see the flowers and bushes! I gave her a spade so she could "help" us and she started digging in the dirt like it was her job, lol. She kept saying "dirt" "spade", lol. She had a blast and amazingly this kept her entertained for hours so Brad and I could get everything done for the landscaping. She just went around digging in the dirt and taking breaks to kick her "pooh" ball around the yard and play on her slide.
She took a break to water my tree

Baby Girl Update- 31 weeks!
Only 9 weeks left!! Maybe only 8, if she comes a week early like her big sister did ;-) She is measuring right on track and doing great! She is so active, much more active in my belly than Peyton ever was. Not sure if that is a sign of what's to come or not, lol. I am feeling good, just getting tired and so, so hot! I've decided that being pregnant in the summer is not the most fun. Other than being tired, I feel good and certainly can't complain. I see my OB every 2 weeks now, and I remember with Peyton that once we got to that point time really starting to fly by. I can't wait to meet this sweet baby girl and give Peyton a sister :-)

Summer Fun
This summer has been so much fun! We have been doing so many things and taking little mini vacations as a family. We have been to The Kentucky Horsepark and the Newport Aquarium and we've been to the zoo about 6 times already! Peyton just loves seeing the animals, and it never gets boring. It has been so much fun to spend time as a family before this new little baby girl arrives. It has been quite a hot summer already, and it's even hotter being pregnant!! But I love being pregnant, even if it is crazy hot. Peyton doesn't seem to understand about the new baby, but I think she is too young to get it. Right now she says she is excited about a baby sister, but I don't think she knows what that means, lol. Here are some pictures from the summer so far.

She's a Toddler!
Writing this makes me sad....might be the pregnancy hormones, but I'm pretty sure every mom gets sad when they realize their "baby" isn't much of a baby anymore. Especially you're first....there is something so special about your first-born. They are the ones that taught you everything you need to know to be a good parent the next time around :-) We've entered the world of toddler beds, sitting on the potty, and independence! Peyton is such a little sweatheart and has recently become very attatched to both mommy and daddy....perhaps she senses that things are changing...or it's just a phase. Whatever it is, Brad and I are enjoying every second of it! She gives big hugs and kisses and cuddles. Her new favorite thing to do is to play naked in her new big girl room after bathtime at night. She runs around with her little tushy shaking, lol. It is so cute! Just tonight she was running around naked and then stops and comes over to me on the bed and lays down next to me and cuddles me.....we sang the ABC's and I told her all about her new little sister coming this summer. It makes me sad to think that in such a short while, it won't be just her anymore. Exciting.....but still kind of sad....
She is finally learning to stop and smile for the camera!

Memorial Day
Memorial Day was lots of fun!! It's nice that Peyton is big enough now to run and play with her cousins, Cain and Anderson. She still doesn't keep up with them though, lol. Peyton is more of a watch and see kind of girl, I guess. We got a cute little pool/island for the kids to play in, but Peyton wanted nothing to do with it. She would walk up to it, but would not get in. She looked super cute in her little bikini though :-) The day turned out nice, got nice and sunny later in the afternoon. We missed Daddy who still had to work that day, cops just can't catch a break can they? Here are some pics from the day.
She had alot of fun with the cup......
